30 Day Poetry Challenge – Day 21 – Drifting Clouds

30 Day Poetry Challenge – Day 21: Hidden Meaning – Write a poem that would be encouraging in some way to someone. Hide it somewhere that a stranger will find it.

Drifting Clouds

Do not forget your dreams.
Look up at the sky
and watch the clouds
drift off into different
shapes.
Allow yourself to be like these clouds,
and you will never be the same.
Smile at a stranger – kiss someone
you love – eat ice cream on a Tuesday –
give a quiet compliment.
Your life is a collage of beautiful moments.
The Universe loves you
and wants you to be happy.

I wrote this on a piece of paper and folded it up, and now I’m going to walk around the Marietta Square and find somewhere good to leave it.
