Sara Crawford is a writer and musician from Marietta, GA.

She has a BA in English from Kennesaw State University and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of New Orleans. She currently teaches graduate creative writing classes online for Southern New Hampshire University. Her poetry has appeared in such publications as Ceremony and Illogical Muse. Her play, THE SNOW GLOBE, was published via YouthPlays in the fall of 2013, and her play, THE SPINS, was a finalist in the 2011 Playwriting Contest from The Essential Theatre. It recently had its world premiere production at Out of Box Theatre in Marietta, GA in January 2016.

She was voted Best Local Songwriter by Creative Loafing in 2010, Best Local Vocalist by Creative Loafing in 2011, and she was previously one half of the indie band, Pocket the Moon.

She is the author of the upcoming young adult series, THE MUSE CHRONICLES beginning with Book One, WE OWN THE SKYand she is represented by literary agent, Marie Brown of Marie Brown Associates.

She frequently blogs for sites like Pick the Brain, LifeHack, and HelloGiggles in addition to running The Daily Writer mailing list and a YouTube channel with Writing Tip Videos.

    • Dialogue is definitely a very important aspect to any story! Even if you want to have a very internal piece with not much dialogue at all, the small bit you have better be important things for that character to say, you know?
